Mustard bread in a bread maker
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. This could be called a classic recipe for mustard bread in a bread machine, but with slight adjustments to ingredient proportions. It's important to remember that bread machines, depending on the model, offer certain recommendations for preparation, which I personally try not to argue with—especially since the results are always wonderful. This bread, though, is a story of its own. It's probably my favorite, perhaps because its aroma reminds me of childhood and the bakery section at the store, where freshly baked loaves were placed on display. Recently, thanks to my assistant—the bread machine—I've been baking bread at home quite often. Plus, it doesn't take much of my time or effort, as the machine does most of the work. So if you have a couple of free hours, use them wisely and bake some homemade bread. I'll be happy to share with you my recipe for making mustard bread in a bread machine. Serve it with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare our ingredients so they are always at hand. With this amount of ingredients, we will get one loaf of bread weighing about a kilogram.
- 2
Step 2

Pour milk and sunflower oil into the bread machine container, add sour cream and egg.
- 3
Step 3

Next, add flour, salt, sugar, mustard powder, and vanilla sugar. Then make a small indentation in the flour and pour the yeast into it. Close the bread machine lid and select the classic bread program (for me, it's program number 1), and choose the crust browning level.

Step 4

Then the bread machine will do everything on its own, and we can take care of our own tasks in the meantime. When the bread is ready, the bread machine will beep.
- 5
Step 5

Our bread is ready. Remove it while it's still warm, then slice it and enjoy the taste of genuine homemade bread.
