Salmon baked whole
Description
Fish should be eaten more often, it's very healthy. But I myself cook it quite rarely. The reason is simple and a bit funny: I always feel like I don't know how to cook it at all (since I constantly prepare meat and poultry). Here's a simple recipe I'd like to share.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Wash the fish and dry it with a paper towel. If necessary, clean it from the entrails and scales, and remove the head if desired.
- 2
Step 2
Prepare a sheet of foil and lightly grease it with vegetable oil.
- 3
Step 3
Make small cuts on the carcass.
- 4
Step 4
Combine salt, pepper, and rosemary. Rub the mixture onto the fish on all sides. If desired, you can use a variety of spices, fresh or dried herbs.
- 5
Step 5
Place the fish on foil.
- 6
Step 6
Wash the lemon, dry it, and slice it thinly. Place a few slices into the slits on the bird, and arrange the rest around it.
- 7
Step 7
Tightly wrap the foil and place it on a baking sheet.
- 8
Step 8
Bake the fish at 190-200 degrees Celsius for about 40 minutes, then carefully unfold the foil and let the whole pink salmon, baked at home, brown slightly.
