Description

Actually, nothing lifts your mood better than delicious food, and here's a wonderful yet quite simple recipe for salmon marinated with carrots, just for you. At first glance, there's nothing extraordinary about this dish, but the fish turns out incredibly tasty, tender, and sunny. With this marinated salmon recipe with carrots, you'll not only instantly boost your mood but also delight your family with a wonderful dinner. 1) First, clean the salmon from scales, cut off the fins, rinse the fish under running water, dry it thoroughly with paper towels, and cut it into portion-sized pieces. 2) In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Dip each piece of fish into this mixture, coating it evenly on all sides. 3) Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the fish pieces on both sides until golden brown. 4) Transfer the salmon to a baking dish and place it in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 20 minutes. 5) While the fish is cooking, prepare the marinade. Cut the carrots into strips and the onion into quarter-rings. 6) Add the onion to heated oil and sauté until soft. Then add the carrots and continue cooking for another 5–7 minutes. 7) Pour a little boiled water into the pan, just enough to almost completely cover the vegetables. Add vinegar, black peppercorns, and bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer over low heat for 15–20 minutes. After that, dilute starch in water and pour it into the pan. Continue simmering the vegetables until the marinade thickens. 8) Once the marinade is ready, pour it over the baked fish and return the dish to the oven for another 5–7 minutes. The finished fish pairs perfectly with potatoes, rice, or pasta. By the way, it's equally delicious both hot and cold. Enjoy your meal!
