Pink salmon in pots
Description
Baking pink salmon in clay pots is a real pleasure, as it requires minimal effort, yet delivers an amazing result. This recipe for preparing pink salmon in clay pots is no exception—everything we need to do is simply layer all the ingredients into the pot, and in the end we get incredibly tasty, tender fish with a wonderful aroma, complete with a side dish, making for a satisfying, wholesome dinner. Believe me, you'll never achieve such a result with regular baking, because in a clay pot all the ingredients absorb each other's juices and aromas—we just need to choose the right combination of ingredients. In my opinion, the combination I'm offering today works perfectly: fish, cauliflower, and a cheesy topping, all together creating an incredibly delicious dish, and now I'll gladly tell you how.
Instructions

Step 1

First of all, we obviously need to prepare the fish. So we cut off the head, tail, and fins, gut it, and rinse it thoroughly. Now we slice it into portion-sized pieces, salt them, sprinkle with spices, and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Then heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a skillet, coat the fish in breadcrumbs, and fry over high heat until golden brown.

Step 3

Separate the cauliflower florets and place them in boiling water for a few minutes. Cauliflower cooks very quickly, so boil it for just one to two minutes.

Step 4

Place the fish at the bottom of the pots, then add the cauliflower florets.

Step 5

Pour half a cup of water into each casserole dish, then top with grated cheese and a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise (you can substitute with sour cream). Season with salt and spices to taste, cover with lids. Place the dishes into a cold oven, set the temperature to 180 degrees, and cook for 30 minutes. That's basically it—now all that's left is to portion the fish onto plates and serve. !!
