Pan-fried pink salmon
Description
Personally, I love this simple recipe for frying pink salmon in a pan precisely because it's so easy and accessible—there's no need to spend ages laboring in the kitchen, and yet the result is absolutely delicious! The key here is the marinade, but even that, as you'll see, is extremely simple to prepare. So, as they say, why complicate your life when you can cook even an expensive fish like pink salmon quickly and tastefully? 1. First, defrost the fish, clean it if necessary, and cut into portion-sized pieces. 2. In a saucepan, prepare the marinade. For this, finely chop the lemons and oranges, or simply juice them. Ideally, you'll need both the juice and zest of these fruits for the sauce. 3. Add salt, pepper, and any additional spices you'd like to the marinade. An interesting flavor combination emerges if you add a pinch of cloves. 4. Melt the honey over a water bath, or add it directly, making sure to mix thoroughly so the sauce has a smooth, even consistency. 5. Place the salmon pieces into the marinade and let them soak for at least 20 minutes while you attend to other things. Remember: the longer the fish marinates, the richer the flavor will be. 6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and cook the fish, basting it with the leftover marinade. That's it! This method of cooking pink salmon in a pan usually turns out perfectly even for inexperienced cooks, and the unique taste will stay with you for a long time! Personally, right before finishing, I usually generously sprinkle the salmon with grated cheese to form a delicious crust, and serve it with chopped green onions. But of course, this is a matter of personal taste—you could also serve this salmon with fresh herbs and a drizzle of vegetable oil, or even completely "plain." Feel free to experiment!
