Cabbage rolls with Korean-style carrots
Description
1. To prepare this dish, you'll first need a large pot big enough to hold a whole cabbage. Bring water to a boil in it, then place the cabbage in the water for about 3 minutes. After that, let it cool slightly and carefully separate the leaves. 2. Peel the carrots and grate them on a special grater. Add spices to taste and let the mixture sit for about 1 hour (in this simple recipe for cabbage rolls with Korean-style carrots, you can use pre-prepared or store-bought carrots). 3. To make the filling even more flavorful, add finely chopped garlic and a bunch of washed and dried fresh herbs (dill, parsley, or any available herbs) to the carrots. 4. Place a small amount of the filling onto each cabbage leaf and carefully roll them up. 5. To make Korean-style carrot cabbage rolls even tastier at home, prepare a marinade. In a small container, bring about 200 milliliters of water to a boil. Add vegetable oil and vinegar, as well as salt and sugar. If desired, add 3-4 allspice berries. Bring to a boil once more, then pour the hot marinade over the cabbage rolls. The dish will be ready to taste after about 24 hours.
