Polish-style stuffed cabbage rolls

Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Polish-style cabbage rolls are made the same way as Ukrainian ones, with the only difference being that Polish cabbage rolls use only tomato sauce, while Ukrainian ones may include sour cream or a sour cream-tomato sauce. Polish cabbage rolls can also be simmered or baked in the oven. But in my opinion, the simmered version turns out more tender and juicy. This is a dish worthy of a festive table. The ready dish can be served.

    Prepare the ingredients for making Polish-style stuffed cabbage rolls.

    Wash the chicken fillet and pork meat. Soak the white baton or bun in boiled cold water and squeeze after five minutes. Peel and wash the onion and garlic. Pass all these ingredients through a meat grinder.

    Season the minced meat with salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly.

    Pour 500 ml of broth or water. Mix well until smooth, without lumps.

    Place the prepared cabbage rolls into a saucepan with the sauce. Add bay leaf. Put on the stove and cover with a lid.
