Turkey leg in soy sauce
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. To make the meat even more tender, marinate the drumstick in soy sauce. Use garlic and other spices for aroma. Be sure to add a little sugar and lemon juice; these ingredients will balance the sauce's flavor. To allow the marinade to penetrate the drumstick well, make cuts in the meat. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the turkey leg and spices for the marinade. Choose fresh, high-quality meat.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the shin, then pat dry with paper towels. Make several longitudinal cuts with a knife along the entire length of the shin, cutting right down to the bone.
- 3
Step 3

Prepare the marinade separately. Pour soy sauce and a little oil into a bowl. Squeeze lemon juice, removing the seeds from the citrus beforehand. Add spices – curry, paprika, sugar, and salt. Add minced garlic and a small amount of mustard.
- 4
Step 4

Mix all the components thoroughly to obtain a uniform marinade.
- 5
Step 5

Place the turkey in a heatproof dish of suitable size, pour the marinade over the top so that it completely covers the leg. Be sure to pour the marinade into the cuts as well. Marinate the leg for at least 1 hour, but you can leave it longer.
- 6
Step 6

After some time, tightly cover the turkey mold with foil and place it in the oven. Bake for 1-1.5 hours at 180 degrees Celsius; the time depends on the size of the leg.
- 7
Step 7

About 20 minutes before the end of cooking, remove the foil so that the top of the drumstick can brown slightly.
- 8
Step 8

After removing from heat, carefully separate the meat from the bone, pour broth over it, and serve with a side dish.
- 9
Step 9

Serve at the table.
