Turkey leg in a bag with potatoes
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To add extra juiciness, I recommend placing the turkey drumsticks in the refrigerator overnight, submerged in a brine made of 2 tablespoons of salt and 1 tablespoon of sugar per 1 liter of cold water. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Season the drumsticks with salt, pepper, half of the garlic powder, and paprika. Rub the spices and seasonings into the meat thoroughly.

Step 3

Place the washed, dried, unpeeled potatoes, cut in half, into a deep bowl. Add the peeled onion, coarsely sliced into wedges. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with the remaining paprika and garlic powder. Add the oil and chop in a sprig of rosemary. Mix well.

Step 4

Place the drumsticks in a baking bag. Arrange potatoes and onions around them. Tie both ends of the bag and make 3-4 punctures with a toothpick. Place the baking bag on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for one hour.

Step 5

Cut open the bag and fold back the edges. Increase the heat to 200 degrees and brown the dish for another 5-10 minutes until a golden crust forms.
- 6
Step 6

Transfer the finished shanks with potatoes to a serving dish, garnish with fresh herbs and vegetables to taste, and serve immediately.

Step 7

Can be served.
