Boiled turkey drumstick in a multicooker
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Here's a recipe for boiled turkey drumsticks in a multicooker for you! I guarantee that with this cooking method, you'll get tender and soft meat. The main problem when cooking drumsticks is their large size, so in the oven the outside often burns while the meat near the bone remains undercooked. To avoid this, it's better to boil the poultry first! Especially since it's very easy to do in a multicooker. The ready dish can be served at the table.

Step 1

1. First, boil the water and blanch the freshly thawed turkey in it for 5 minutes. Then rinse the turkey under hot and cold water, and if necessary, remove any remaining feathers and singe the skin. If you have a "clean bird," simply place the washed drumsticks into the multicooker bowl.

Step 2

2. Peel the onion and carrot, cut into large pieces, add bay leaf and salt, and cook for about half an hour in "Soup" mode. Skim off the foam to obtain a clear broth, which can later be used for other culinary purposes. Cook for another 15 minutes.

Step 3

3. Take out the bird and rub it with spices and pepper. That's it! The drumsticks turn out too pale, so I still recommend browning them a bit more. Place them on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees (or cook in the same multicooker using the "Baking" mode with the lid closed for 40 minutes). Don't forget to flip them.

4. This is what a nicely browned bird will look like. It looks even more appetizing this way, right?
