Turkey drumstick on the coals
Description
Everyone is used to grilling standard pork shish kebabs outdoors. At most, we sometimes grill chicken. But recently I got the idea to cook turkey. To keep the dish from turning out too dry, I grilled turkey drumsticks. It's best served with rice, boiled potatoes, and vegetables.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
To prepare the marinade, combine barbecue sauce, onion, soy sauce, sesame seeds, garlic, and ginger.
- 2
Step 2
Take one-third of this mixture, place it in a container, and refrigerate.
- 3
Step 3
The remaining mixture should be set aside for the marinade itself.
- 4
Step 4
To allow the meat to absorb the marinade well, prick it with a fork or toothpick. Mix the meat and marinade and place in a pot.
- 5
Step 5
That's where it will marinate. Place in the refrigerator for several hours.
- 6
Step 6
The meat needs to be stirred regularly so that it marinates evenly.
- 7
Step 7
Place the meat on the grill and cook over coals for about 20-25 minutes. During the last 10 minutes, brush the meat with the reserved marinade.
