Turkey leg in one, two, three
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Turkey meat is dietary and rich in vitamins and minerals. It's no more difficult to cook than chicken, just slightly longer. Choose marinade spices so they don't overpower the delicate flavor of the meat itself. Serve hot.

Step 1

It's very simple. Wash the drumsticks and thoroughly dry them with paper towels. For the marinade, mix olive oil with salt, sugar syrup, and a blend of peppers. Coat the drumsticks with the marinade, rubbing it well into the meat. Place them in a baking dish, cover with foil, and refrigerate overnight to marinate.

Step 2

Take the drumsticks out of the refrigerator an hour before cooking and let them come to room temperature. Place coarsely chopped onion between the drumsticks and put small sprigs of fresh rosemary on top of the meat. If you don't have fresh rosemary, you can add a pinch of dried rosemary directly to the marinade. Pour a glass of boiling water or chicken broth into the baking dish, cover with foil, and place in a cold oven. Turn the oven on to 200°C and cook the drumsticks for half an hour. Then reduce the heat to 120°C and continue roasting for another hour. Remove the foil, increase the temperature, and brown the drumsticks until golden.

Step 3

Cover the cooked shanks with foil and let them rest for about 15 minutes. Serve with fresh vegetables and white wine.
