Chicken drumstick
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. These fried chicken legs perfectly complement any side dish, whether it's potatoes, cereals, or vegetables in any form. Chicken legs are cooked with minimal fat and turn out quite low-calorie. My daughter especially loves chicken legs, but not the breast, so I often cook drumsticks and have tried many recipes. This one has become our family's favorite. The dish is ready to be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Rinse the drumsticks under running water.
- 2
Step 2

Make small cuts with a sharp knife.
- 3
Step 3

Marinate the drumsticks. Mix sour cream, lemon juice, salt, and turmeric.
- 4
Step 4

Rub the marinade well into the chicken, cover the container with a lid, and let it sit for one to one and a half hours.
- 5
Step 5

After some time, drain the excess liquid and mix in the spices.
- 6
Step 6

Generously coat the drumsticks with marinade on all sides and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. It's best if you let the meat marinate overnight.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the chicken drumsticks from the refrigerator an hour before browning. Melt the butter in a frying pan over low heat, then cook the meat over medium heat, covered, for 10–15 minutes. Then remove the lid and cook for another 5 minutes.
