Nests with stuffing in a pan
Description
Instead of cream, you can use milk, diluted sour cream, simply fill the nests with broth or even tomato juice. You can use more cheese or omit it altogether. And don't forget your favorite herbs and spices.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Finely chop the onion and mushrooms in a food processor using the pulse mode until coarsely crumbled. Sauté the mushrooms with the onion in heated oil until cooked through, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- 3
Step 3

Mix the cooled mushroom filling with the pork. Add salt and pepper to taste, and knead thoroughly.
- 4
Step 4

Place the pasta nests into the greased casserole dish, leaving spaces between them. Shape the meat mixture into large balls and place them into the nests.
- 5
Step 5

Pour boiling salted water into the nests so that the pasta is just barely visible above the water, with the meatballs on top.
- 6
Step 6

Cover with a lid and cook for about 7 minutes, until the water is absorbed and the pasta is almost done.
- 7
Step 7

Pour in the cream, reduce the heat, and let the cream absorb into the pasta.
- 8
Step 8

Sprinkle with grated cheese and remove from heat. Let it stand covered for about 5-7 minutes so the cheese melts and the dish finishes cooking.
- 9
Step 9

Serve the nests with stuffing hot, sprinkled with fresh herbs.
- 10
Step 10

Serve at the table.
