Pasta nests in a pan

Description

The recipe won't take much time. It's an original and quite interesting variation of preparing pasta with meat. It's quick to make, yet turns out filling and very delicious—a perfect everyday family dinner. You can use any ground meat, and the dish can be complemented with a variety of sauces: tomato paste-based, sour cream, cream, milk, tomato, or cheese. I'll use tomato paste for the sauce, which will give the dish not only an attractive color but also a wonderful flavor. It's very simple to prepare! Assemble it raw, pour over the sauce, and simmer for about 30 minutes. The result is a fantastic taste and aroma—give it a try. Serve hot.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. You can use any ground meat, but mixed meat works best.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Add one onion, grated on a coarse grater, to the minced meat, along with crushed garlic, salt, and spices to taste. Mix thoroughly and firmly stuff each pasta nest with the meat filling.

    Step 3

Heat a skillet with oil, add diced onion and carrot. Sauté the vegetables until tender.

Then pour in about 500 ml of boiling water, adjust the salt, and season with pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Step 6

Place the prepared nests into the finished sauce, making sure they are spaced apart from each other.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Then add more water so that it almost completely covers the pasta, otherwise the top part will be too hard.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for about 25-30 minutes.

  9. 9

    Step 9

The pasta nests are ready in the pan. You can serve them immediately, but it's better to let them sit for a while.
