
Mulled wine in a multicooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. If desired, you can add floral honey to the slightly cooled drink, provided you're not allergic to this sweet product. Large amounts of glühwein are contraindicated for people with high blood pressure, while those with low blood pressure will feel simply wonderful after tasting it. It's ready to serve.

Prepare the listed ingredients.

Blanch the orange with boiling water to release the aromatic oils on the surface. Grate the zest directly into the multicooker bowl using a fine grater. Then peel the fruit and remove the white pith underneath. Separate into segments and remove the transparent membrane from each. Place them in the bowl.

Add sugar, cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon, star anise, dried cloves. At this stage, you can also add slices of peeled ginger root or dried ginger, bay leaves, cardamom, if you enjoy these flavors.

Rinse the pear and apple under water, cut each fruit in half, and remove the cores. Then slice them and place the slices directly into the multicooker bowl.

Pour in the apple juice and any red table wine. If adding fortified wine, also pour in a little hot water to reduce the alcohol content. Activate the "Cooking" or "Soup" mode on your appliance's control panel for 5–10 minutes, depending on the model. Heat all ingredients together until almost boiling, then switch the multicooker to the "Keep Warm" mode for 10 minutes. During this time, the fruits will stew and become tender.

Pour the hot mulled wine from the multicooker into glasses or cups together with the fruits, and serve hot.
