
Mulled wine with cinnamon
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The drink is not only invigorating but also beneficial. It's good to drink such beverages when you have a slight cold. The spices and hot wine help the body fight off the cold. Can be served.

Prepare the ingredients. Place a star anise star, 1 cinnamon stick, and a couple of lemon slices into a saucepan.

Pour in the wine. Add orange zest. You can also add orange juice with pulp, but it's better to eat them separately. Thin orange fibers will float in the mulled wine. This is unpleasant, and they won't contribute much to the taste. Therefore, you can eat the orange itself, but use only the zest for cooking mulled wine.

Add sugar to the saucepan. Place over heat. As soon as the glühwein comes to a boil, simmer for a few seconds—then turn off the heat. Let the drink steep for about 5–7 minutes, covered. Pour into cups.

Serve the mulled wine hot at the table. Drink it like tea, but don't forget that it's an alcoholic beverage. Everything should be enjoyed in moderation.
