Mulled wine by the campfire
Description
The recipe won't take much time. 1. When cooking outdoors, mulled wine preparation is simplified to the minimum. Pour wine into a pot or saucepan and place it over the fire. 2. Meanwhile, rinse the oranges and lemon with clean water. Cut them into small slices and add to the wine. 3. Add sugar. The amount depends not only on your taste preferences but also on the sweetness of the chosen wine. You can also use honey, for example. 4. For extra aroma, add cinnamon sticks and cloves. If possible, you can also use star anise and nutmeg. 5. Stir the drink constantly so that the sugar dissolves well. 6. Warm the mulled wine until the spices and fruits release their full flavors and aromas. 7. After heating, remove from heat, cover with a lid, and let it steep for another 10 minutes. 8. Carefully remove the spices with a slotted spoon. Pour the mulled wine into a glass and add an orange slice. That's it—time to taste the result.
