Mulled wine from Martini
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can prepare the aromatic mulled wine in advance and keep it warm under a lid, adding Martini just before serving. If desired, you can replace the water with apple, orange, or cherry juice, and use sugar instead of honey.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use apples of any variety, but if they are very sour, add a bit more honey or sugar.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the apples in half and remove the cores. Rinse them in water and slice directly into a saucepan or pot. Add cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon, star anise, and honey. If you don't like heating honey, stir it into the glühwein after the drink has cooled down. Add slices of a quarter of a lemon.

Step 3

Pour in the water and place the container on the stove. Boil for about 10 minutes from the moment it starts boiling, so that the apple slices impart their color, flavor, and aroma to the liquid.

Step 4

Turn off the heat and pour in the martini of any flavor.

Step 5

Pour the hot mulled wine into cups or glasses and serve.
