Easter bread glaze
Description
The baking is simple and quick. In my opinion, homemade baked goods should contain minimal artificial colorings and additives. That's why I always make the icing myself, and only in a natural white color. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Use well-chilled eggs.
- 2
Step 2

Separate the egg whites from the yolks, place the whites in a tall mixing bowl, add sugar and lemon juice.
- 3
Step 3

Beat with a mixer at high speed for about 6-8 minutes until the mixture increases in volume. The mixture should become perfectly white and thick. Adjust the thickness to your preference; I usually make the icing of medium consistency—neither too runny, nor too thick, so that it spreads slightly over the top of the kulich.

Step 4

The sugar glaze for the Easter bread is ready. Brush it over freshly baked Easter bread or muffins, decorate with sprinkles, and let it set.
