
Homemade Glazed Gingerbread Cookies

Why buy gingerbread when you can make it yourself? These are just as good as store-bought ones, and the icing can be not only white, but also colored or flavored. 1. Separate the yolks from the whites, placing the whites in the refrigerator. Mix the yolks with kefir, yeast, sugar, and baking soda.

3. Sift the flour and add it to the bowl in portions (you might need slightly less). Knead an elastic and soft dough.

5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place the prepared items on it, and put them in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 25 minutes, making sure not to over-dry them.
