Oat pancakes
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Serve these pancakes with low-fat sour cream or with a sauce made from Greek yogurt and minced garlic. The taste is quite interesting, but you can intensify it with spices and seasonings if desired. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions

Step 1

Oatmeal flakes need to be soaked. To do this, pour boiling water over them so that the water completely covers the flakes. Cover them with a plate and let stand for 40 minutes. You can also soak the flakes the night before for morning pancakes.

Step 2

Peel the onion and garlic and finely chop. You can also use a blender for grinding. In the blender, I process the onion and garlic almost into a puree-like consistency so that the pieces are not noticeable in the pancakes.

Step 3

Add the onion and garlic to the soaked oatmeal. Add the chopped dill, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix the mixture well and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Heat the skillet well and lightly grease it with vegetable oil. Use a tablespoon to place the batter onto the skillet, forming pancakes. Reduce the heat to low and fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Add more vegetable oil to the skillet if necessary.
