Hawaiian pie
Description
My Hawaiian pie recipe is as close to the original as possible—indeed, a very similar pie is actually baked on the Hawaiian Islands. You can try making it with fresh pineapples, or drizzle it with a different glaze, for example, chocolate. But I still prefer cream cheese with powdered sugar. Hawaiian pie is very delicious and filling. Spread a piece with your favorite jam—it goes really well. Enjoy! The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Let's prepare the pie itself. First, mix the dry ingredients. Specifically, coconut flakes, flour, and cinnamon.
- 2
Step 2

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
- 3
Step 3

Grind the nuts and finely chop the pineapples.
- 4
Step 4

Mix the pineapples and macadamia nuts with the beaten eggs.
- 5
Step 5

Then add them to the dry ingredients and knead the dough.
- 6
Step 6

Place the dough in a pie baking pan and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

When the pie is done baking, it will develop a crisp brown crust. Let it cool for about 20 minutes. While it's cooling, we'll make the glaze.

Step 8

Mix cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar. Then spread this glaze over the top of the cake. Let it set and soak in. After 20 minutes, you can serve the Hawaiian cake with tea!
