
Strawberry Galette
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. You can easily make the galette base (dough) yourself—it won't take much time. This same dough can be used for other baked pies, so feel free to store any leftovers in the refrigerator. Serve the galette warm or cooled, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy with a scoop of cream cheese. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

1. Sift the flour and mix it with 1 tablespoon of sugar and orange zest. Combine the flour mixture in a food processor with cold butter and ricotta.

2. Add cold water to the crumbs, knead the dough, shape it into a ball, and refrigerate for half an hour.

3. Wash the strawberries, remove the green stems, and slice them into pieces.

4. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll it out thinly, place the strawberries in the center, leaving 3 cm edges around.

5. Fold the edges over the strawberries, brush the edges with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar, and add chopped pistachios to the strawberries.

6. Bake the galette for about 20-30 minutes at 200 degrees. Serve it warm or cold, garnished with powdered sugar.
