Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Today's fruit galette recipe is not entirely simple; it’s a fruit galette with frangipane. If you haven’t tried this kind of pastry yet, I highly recommend making it.

Prepare the ingredients.

In a bowl, combine flour, 110 grams of sugar, baking powder, and add a pinch of salt.

Add softened butter to the dry ingredients. Pour in cold water.

Make the shortcrust pastry, shape it into a ball, and put it in the freezer while you prepare the filling.

To make frangipane, combine in equal parts softened butter (50 g), sugar (50 g), almond flour (50 g), and add one egg.

Mix everything well until it reaches a uniform consistency.

Remove the pits from the fruits, large ones — slice them into wedges.

Place parchment on the baking sheet, then the dough rolled out into a sheet on the parchment. Spread the frangipane over the dough, leaving a 2–3 cm border, and smooth it.

Place the fruit on the frangipane.

Carefully fold the dough toward the center, making sure it stays whole, without any tears.

Bake the galette for 20–25 minutes at 180 °C.

Serve the fruit galette preferably cooled. Frangipane holds the filling perfectly, absorbs the released juice, doesn’t let the dough become soggy, and besides it’s simply delicious!
