Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Fruit pilaf is an unusual dish at first glance. For most people, pilaf is associated with an abundance of Eastern spices and lamb meat. During fasting, you still want to treat yourself to something delicious, and a sweet pilaf with dried fruits is an excellent option. For preparing fruit pilaf, you can also use fresh fruits (especially in summer), add nuts or honey. Don't be afraid to experiment! The taste can be rich and sweet, or slightly sharp and tangy (depending on whether you dilute the juice with water or not, use more ginger instead of honey, etc.). 1. Wash, peel, and julienne the carrots. Sauté them with a small amount of oil. 2. Rinse the rice and dried fruits (preferably use long-grain rice, not round). 3. Take a cauldron (preferably with a thick bottom). Place the carrots at the bottom, then add the rice and dried fruits. Pour juice over everything. 4. Cover the cauldron with a lid and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. 5. Then add all the spices and cook for another 10 minutes. Let the finished pilaf cool slightly, then serve, garnished with dried fruits. Delight yourself and your loved ones. The dish is ready to be served.
