Fruit Canapés
Description
The appetizer is quick and easy to make. I make fruit canapés with sour cream. Thanks to the kiwi and raspberries, they turn out sweet and tart. To keep that balance of two flavors, you need something neutral — sour cream is perfect. Cream is too sweet for this dessert. 1. Peel the kiwi and slice it into rounds. 2. Rinse the raspberries. 3. Spread sour cream on one side of each kiwi slice, but not all over — only in the center. 4. Place one raspberry on the sour cream. 5. You can secure them with canapé picks or toothpicks so your guests can enjoy them more easily. Fruit canapés are rich in vitamins. Kiwi contains a wide range of vitamins; raspberries are high in iron and vitamin C. In winter, kiwi and raspberries are great allies for your immune system. Here’s a little secret: when my child is sick and loses their appetite, I make these fruit canapés. They look so tempting that he eats them gladly. Kiwi also helps stimulate appetite. So after one serving of canapés, my child is happy to sit down for a full meal. Those are a mom’s little tricks.
