Fruit Platter for Easter

15 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

It's suitable both for a holiday and for everyday. In the recipe, I used an ordinary thin knife, a cookie cutter, and a channeling knife. If you don't have such a knife, don't worry—the grooves can be made on the orange with any sharp object, even a can lid (just fold it in half). It can be served warm or chilled.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Prepare the fruit, wash and dry it. Let's begin!

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Feel the mandarin with your fingers and try to determine how the segments are arranged. With a sharp knife, cut the mandarin peel into 8 sections, only halfway through the peel. Try not to cut into the segments themselves.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Open the tangerine's "petals." When you see the segments, separate them and arrange them in the shape of a partially open flower.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Peel the banana. Take a thin sharp knife and make zigzag cuts, working your way around in a circle. Then simply remove the resulting bell-shaped pieces.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Score grooves into the orange, cut the orange in half, and slice each half into thin slices.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Arrange the orange in a circle.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Peel the kiwi, rinse under water. Use a cookie cutter to shape them. You can also slice the kiwi first and then cut out shapes with the cookie cutter.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Place the kiwi star shapes on the orange slices.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

The final touch is garnishing with berries—it’s optional, but the fruit platter looks more festive with them.
