The recipe won't take much time. The amazing combination of chicken with vegetables and sauce makes this dish very popular. Almost every homemaker prepares chicken fricassee with peppers at home. This dish will be an excellent alternative to the usual goulash. Serve hot.

    1. To make chicken fricassee with peppers at home, I used chicken legs. This is not crucial, so you can use any part of the chicken. Rinse them, pat dry, and set aside.

    2. Meanwhile, slice all the vegetables and fry them on a skillet one by one. Start with tomatoes, then onion, carrots, and finally bell pepper.

    3. Once the vegetables are ready, add the tomato paste and pour in a glass of water (preferably vegetable or meat broth). Then I added pepper and spices.

    4. Simmer the vegetables over low heat for about 5 minutes, then add the olives and peas. Some people also use raisins for this dish. If desired, add a pinch to taste. Cook the vegetables for a few more minutes, then add the fried meat to the pan. I usually use two pans—one for the meat and one for the vegetables—and prepare the dish simultaneously.

    5. Place the meat into the pan with the vegetables, cover with a lid, and simmer for about 20 minutes. At the very end, add the fresh herbs and let the fricassee rest. You can serve the meat on its own, but it's tastier with a side dish (porridge, mashed potatoes, or spaghetti).
