Step 1

1. Wash the meat, pat it dry, and pass it through a meat grinder. Pour milk over breadcrumbs or several slices of bread. Finely chop the onion. Combine all ingredients in a deep bowl.

2. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper to taste, add the egg and mix thoroughly.

3. With wet hands, pinch off small portions of the filling and shape them into meatballs.

4. Heat a little vegetable oil in a saucepan or skillet. Place the meatballs in small batches and sear over high heat until browned.

5. Carefully remove the meatballs, add more vegetable oil to the pot, and sauté the chopped onion. Then add the chopped mushrooms. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until golden brown.

6. Add the butter and sprinkle in the flour.

7. Stir and after a minute add water or broth. Add a little dry white wine.

8. Simmer for about 5 minutes, then add cream and sour cream.
