Meatballs with rosemary

Description

The recipe won't take much time. In a large bowl, mix beef, pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, rosemary, lemon zest and lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Shape into 12 meatballs. Heat oil in a large skillet with a lid over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned, 10 to 12 minutes. Add tomato sauce. Bring sauce to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer until meatballs are cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes. Serve meatballs hot with sauce, garnished with rosemary sprigs if desired.
