Meatballs with sauce
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Meatballs with sauce are quite fatty, so I recommend choosing the leanest possible ground meat at the store, especially if you're cooking for children. Kids really love eating these meatballs with sauce according to this recipe together with pasta (specifically the kind shown in the photo). And for some reason, they always eat this dish with their hands... :) But what can you do—children are children! Good luck and have a great mood. The dish is ready to be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Finely chop the onion. You can also mince it using a blender.
- 2
Step 2

Fry it in butter.
- 3
Step 3

Then, in a convenient container, mix: fried onion, beef and pork mince, eggs, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and milk.
- 4
Step 4

Knead everything by hand and form one large meatball :)
- 5
Step 5

In a skillet, melt about 5 tablespoons of butter and fry small meatballs formed by hand. Brown them on both sides.
- 6
Step 6

Place the lightly fried meatballs into a suitable dish.
- 7
Step 7

Then check the pan where the meatballs were fried—if there's no burnt oil, add a little more butter. We'll be making the sauce. Next, add flour to the pan and mix it well to prevent lumps. Cook this mixture until it turns a nice brown color.
- 8
Step 8

Then gradually pour in the hot broth, constantly stirring.
- 9
Step 9

Then pour the sauce over the meatballs and simmer them for another 12-15 minutes over medium heat.
- 10
Step 10

At the very end, add the sour cream and mix very gently. Serve the meatballs with a side dish, such as pasta or mashed potatoes.
