Meatballs with semolina
Description
You can make semolina meatballs using store-bought ground meat, but it's better to prepare the meat mixture yourself. Beef, turkey, or lean chicken work best. I add semolina and an egg to the meat mixture to make it firmer, since I won't be pre-frying the meatballs, but will bake them in a tomato-sour cream sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, grains, or simply accompany the dish with fresh vegetables. Simple, hearty, and delicious.
