
Swedish-style meatballs
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Serve juicy turkey meatballs with egg noodles on the side. Serve hot.

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Finely chop the onion. Press the garlic. Heat olive oil in a small skillet over low heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté for 2–3 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the turkey meat, sautéed onion and garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tablespoon parsley, allspice, and nutmeg.

3. With your hands, shape the mixture into balls and place them in a baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes until done.

4. Add the beef broth and flour to a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake vigorously until the flour is completely dissolved. Pour the broth into a large skillet and add the remaining Worcestershire sauce, parsley, black pepper, and salt to taste. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium and cook until thickened, 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Reduce the heat and stir in the sour cream. Add the meatballs and cover with a lid. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with egg noodles.
