
Chickpea meatballs in tomato sauce
Description
Looks similar to a dish from Italian cuisine. Serve these meatballs with sauce and pasta, with porridge, or mashed potatoes. These same meatballs can also be served with pita. First, make the meatballs yourself, then prepare the sauce. Place the cooked meatballs into the sauce and simmer for some time.

1. Rinse the chickpeas in a colander under running water, then shake off the excess water.

2. Wash the parsley, peel the red onion and garlic, and coarsely chop the onion. Grate the cheese. Place chickpeas, parsley, red onion, garlic, Parmesan, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to taste into a blender.

3. Blend until a more or less homogeneous paste is obtained. Periodically scrape the ingredients from the blender walls while blending.
