French bread in a bread maker
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. French bread made in a bread machine has a tender, airy texture. Once you've made it at home, you'll never want to buy bread from the store again. Here's a simple yet well-crafted recipe. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

1. The recipe for making French bread in a bread machine involves a long preparation time, but all the effort will be worth it when you taste the first slice. Measure the required amount of water and dry milk. Add them to the bread machine bowl.

Step 2

2. Add butter. I do not recommend replacing it with margarine, as it may spoil the taste.

Step 3

3. Add sugar and salt to the dough as well.

Step 4

4. Sift the flour and add it to the bowl. Make small indentations in the flour and pour the dry yeast into them.

Step 5

5. Place the pan into the bread machine. Select the "French bread" setting for a loaf weighing approximately 750 g with a medium crust. Delay the start of the process by 10 hours.

Step 6

6. When the French bread is ready in the bread machine at home, leave it for some time (you can cover it with a clean towel) to cool down. Only then slice and taste it confidently.
