
French pear pie
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Looking for a new baking idea? Try making a classic French pear tart using ready-made puff pastry. It's quick and easy to prepare, and the addition of cardamom, cinnamon, brandy, and anise will make the flavor of your tart truly unforgettable. Serve chilled.

1. Wash the pears, cut them in half, and carefully remove the cores.

2. Mix sugar, butter, anise, cardamom, and cinnamon in a heatproof skillet about 20 cm in diameter, and place over high heat. Wait until the mixture boils. Shake the skillet and stir the mixture until the sugar caramelizes.

3. Place the pears in a frying pan, cook them in the sauce for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they caramelize. Pour in the brandy and ignite. Set the pears aside. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

4. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.3 cm and cut out a circle.

5. When the pears have cooled slightly, place them on the dough surface, cut side up, arranging them in the shape of a flower.

6. Place the dough over the pears, seal the edges. Prick the dough with a fork and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for another 15 minutes, until the dough is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let stand. Then transfer to a plate upside down.
