Molded cookies
Description
I think many of you have such molds (ceramic, metal, silicone, etc.), and surely they are gathering dust somewhere on a shelf. With their help, you can quickly and easily make delicious cookies that go perfectly with tea or coffee. You don't need to spend a lot of time on them—just prepare the dough and fill the molds. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Place softened butter into the bowl of a mixer, add sugar and beat, then add egg and milk.
- 2
Step 2
Mix the flour with vanilla and salt, gradually add it to the bowl, mix, and place the dough on the table.
- 3
Step 3
Knead the dough for several minutes, do not overload it with flour, then shape it into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes or place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- 4
Step 4
Grease the cookie molds with a piece of butter and sprinkle with flour, then turn the molds upside down to remove excess flour.
- 5
Step 5
Take the dough and pinch off a small piece, place it into the mold and press it down. Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into the mold so that the patterns are well imprinted. Turn the mold over and tap it several times to release the cookie.
- 6
Step 6
Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Then flour the pan again and repeat the process.
- 7
Step 7
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for 10–12 minutes. If your oven has two levels, place the baking sheet on the upper one.
- 8
Step 8
Transfer the finished cookies carefully onto a plate, let them cool, and serve.
