Trout baked in the oven, wrapped in foil
Description
You can make a special sauce from sour cream according to your preference. For example, you can mix it with herbs such as rosemary, basil, or fresh or dried dill. Trout is a fairly juicy and tender fish, so when baking, you can easily do without butter. However, in this case, it's advisable to lightly coat the inside of the fish with any vegetable oil, preferably olive oil.
Instructions

Step 1

Wash the lemon thoroughly and slice it neatly into rings without peeling off the skin. Peel the onion and cut it into rings or half-rings. The thickness of the lemon and onion slices should be about 0.5 centimeters.

Step 2

Now prepare the trout. Gut it, cut off the fins, and rinse it thoroughly. Then dry it. Coat the outside with sour cream, and place pieces of butter and lemon slices inside. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3

Now "close" the fish and place onion rings, previously separated, on top. Wrap the fish tightly in foil. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Step 4

If the fish weighs about a kilogram or more, it should be baked for about an hour. Then open the foil and let the fish brown in the oven for another 10-15 minutes. Before serving, garnish the trout with lemon and olives.
