Trout baked on potatoes with garlic sauce
Description
The secret of this wonderful dish lies in the sauce. Pay special attention to it: finely chop the garlic and simmer it over low heat in melted butter. Then add flour and lightly sauté. Pour in the cream, stirring constantly, and cook until thickened. Add boiled water, salt, pepper, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, then set aside. The rest is simple—place sliced potatoes in a baking dish, then arrange fish pieces on top. Add a layer of carrots lightly sautéed with onions, and pour the garlic sauce over everything. Bake in the oven at 180°C (356°F) for 40 minutes.
