Thin garlic focaccia

Description

Homemade baked goods for tea. This baking is very simple to prepare. It tastes similar to pizza, but unlike pizza, focaccia doesn't have toppings on the surface—sometimes ingredients are added inside. So start by making focaccia with garlic and rosemary, then try making it with cheese or tomatoes. It can be eaten with soups or used to make sandwiches. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

In a bowl, mix dry yeast, sugar, and 1 3/4 cups of warm water. Cover with a lid and let sit for 10–15 minutes until the yeast becomes active.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Then add the sifted flour, olive oil, and salt. Knead until you have a soft, slightly sticky dough.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Grease a bowl with olive oil, transfer the dough into it, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for an hour.

  4. 4

    Step 4

Grease your hands with olive oil and knead the dough well. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of 1-1.5 cm and let it rise for another 30 minutes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. 5

    Step 5

Mix dried rosemary, olive oil, and pressed garlic. Spread this mixture over the dough and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.

  6. 6
