
Focaccia with sauce
Description
Universal dressing for salads and hot dishes. Actually, there's nothing complicated about making focaccia—just knead the dough well and choose the right sauce. In this recipe, I'll tell you. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.

1. Prepare the "Pesto" sauce: rinse a large bunch of basil under cold water. Separate the leaves from the stems, dry thoroughly, and chop. Peel the garlic and slice it thinly.

2. Grate Parmesan or another hard cheese. Place part of the basil into the blender container, add the grated cheese, nuts, garlic, and 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil.

3. Blend the mixture with a blender, gradually adding the remaining basil leaves and olive oil (the sauce should not be homogeneous). Prepare the dough: mix flour, salt, and yeast.

4. Make a well in the center, add warm water and vegetable oil. Knead the dough for 7 minutes until it is no longer sticky. Transfer the dough to a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 1 hour.

5. Gently knead the dough, then divide it into 16 pieces and roll them into balls. Dip each ball into the sauce and place them in a 22 cm diameter baking dish. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

6. Sprinkle the focaccia with grated mozzarella and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
