Sesame Focaccia
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. The recipe for dill focaccia is extremely simple—just follow these instructions, and you'll surely succeed: 1. In a small bowl, mix sugar and warm water. After a minute, add dry yeast (a 7-gram packet) and let it sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes. 2. In another bowl, place 3 cups of flour, salt, and the yeast water mixture. Knead for about 5 minutes. When the mixture becomes sufficiently sticky, gradually add the remaining flour and continue kneading for several more minutes. If the dough turns out too wet, add a bit more flour. 3. Shape the risen dough into a ball and transfer it to a dish coated with olive oil. Let it rise for 3 hours in a warm place, covered with a clean towel. 4. Has the dough risen? Wonderful! Gently spread it out in a baking pan, spray or brush the top with oil, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Season with salt and pepper, place in a preheated oven, and bake for about 20 minutes at 180°C (356°F). Your sesame focaccia is ready! Serve cooled down or slightly warm.
