Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour water into a mixing bowl for the dough, dissolve the yeast, add a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp of olive oil, and mix.
- 3
Step 3

Add the sifted flour.
- 4
Step 4

Knead the dough, working it for at least 5–7 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic and no longer sticks to your hands. Cover with plastic wrap and leave to ferment for 40 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

After 40 minutes, the dough is ready to use.
- 6
Step 6

Shape the dough into a flatbread about 1.5 cm thick. Sprinkle with water and olive oil—this can be done with a pastry brush—then use your fingers to make dimples all over the flatbread.
- 7
Step 7

Chop the olives and one tomato into small pieces.
- 8
Step 8

Place the sliced olives and tomatoes on the flatbread, pressing them lightly into the dough. Let it proof for 40–45 minutes, then bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 25–30 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

While the focaccia is baking, dice the second tomato and remove the seeds so there is no excess liquid.
- 10
Step 10

Remove the hot focaccia from the oven, place burrata and tomatoes on top, brush with olive oil, sprinkle with oregano, and wait a few minutes until the burrata begins to melt.
- 11
Step 11

Focaccia with a crispy crust, melted burrata, and tomatoes creates a very harmonious combination of flavors. It is already a complete dish.
