Description

Hot flan can be served with whipped cream or any ice cream. You can also make a sauce using the cherry syrup left over from cooking the cherries. To do this, mix the starch with one tablespoon of water, pour it into the hot syrup, and cook, stirring, until thickened. Pour the syrup over the hot flan immediately after removing it from the oven.

    Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making cherry flan.

    Place the cherries in a saucepan, add 2 tablespoons of sugar, and pour in water. Bring to a boil, then simmer the cherries over low heat for 10 minutes.

    Place the cherries, without syrup, into two baking dishes measuring 10*10 cm each.

    In a bowl, break the egg, add starch, flour, and the remaining sugar.

    Pour the milk into a bowl and mix until a smooth batter forms.

    Pour the batter over the cherries.

    Place the flan molds in a preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes at 180 degrees. Remove the ready flan and serve immediately.
