Catfish fillet with basil and thyme

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Place flour, cornmeal, onion powder, dried basil, salt, dried thyme, white pepper, cayenne pepper, and pepper into a large resealable plastic bag. Add the catfish fillets and shake the bag to coat the fish evenly with the seasoning. Heat a large shallow skillet over medium heat. Add butter to the skillet. When the butter is hot, add the catfish fillets. Cook the fish for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, until it flakes easily with a fork. Let it cool slightly and serve hot.
