Salmon fillet in the oven
Description
I especially like salmon baked in the oven. You can bake it with cheese, potatoes, but it turns out especially delicious simply with tomatoes, spices, and fresh herbs. This preparation highlights its delicate flavor, and the fish cooks very quickly. A few sprigs of basil will be perfect.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. We will also need foil.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the fish and pat it dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Season generously with salt and pepper, and you can also rub it with fish spices, but don't overdo it so as not to overpower the fish flavor. Grease a sheet of foil with vegetable oil and place the fish on it.

Step 3

Finely chop the herbs, slice the tomatoes into rings, and evenly distribute the herbs over the fillets. Place a tomato slice on top. Sprinkle with a little more vegetable oil. Wrap tightly in foil, using two layers if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Serve the ready salmon fillet baked in the oven, cut into portion pieces. The fish is delicious both hot and cold.
