
Fettuccine Alfredo
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Alfredo's wife was pregnant and could only eat pasta with lots of butter. That's how this recipe was born! It became popular in America, especially among Hollywood stars. On the other side of the Atlantic, people started adding cream to the recipe as well. We'll cook the pasta, prepare the sauce, sauté the vegetables and chicken fillet, then mix everything together. Serve hot.

1. Place a pot of water on the stove for the fettuccine. Then cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Cut the broccoli into florets. Wash the bell pepper and slice it into strips.

2. Cut the chicken breast into cubes.

3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. When it starts to smoke, fry the chicken fillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook the fillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until it turns golden-brown.

4. Place the chicken on a plate and cover it to keep warm. Add a little more vegetable oil to the same skillet and sauté the bell pepper for 3-5 minutes. Then transfer it to the chicken.

5. Place the broccoli florets into the skillet where you fried the bell pepper, sauté for 2-3 minutes. Then add a little water, cover with a lid, and simmer for a short while.

6. In a saucepan, combine the butter, cream cheese, and cream. Heat over medium heat until the butter melts. Stir and remove from heat.

7. Add grated Parmesan. Stir until the cheese is melted. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.

8. Mix the cooked fettuccine with the sauce.

9. Place the fettuccine, chicken pieces, broccoli, and bell pepper on a serving plate. Sprinkle with grated cheese and season with freshly ground black pepper.
