Beans in tomato sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Here's my simple bean dish in tomato sauce, which can be served either as a main course or as a side dish. It really takes just "one-two" steps to prepare, yet the result is quite satisfying—this dish is filling, healthy, and tasty thanks to the tomato paste. The key is not to overcook the beans in tomato sauce; the dish should remain slightly soupy. Good luck! Serve hot.

Proceed with the beans as follows: soak them in water overnight, drain the water, add fresh water, and cook the beans for about an hour and a half. Drain the beans in a colander and let the liquid drip off.

Step 2

In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil, add finely chopped onion and carrot, and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Then add beans, tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Simmer everything for 3-4 minutes.
