Beans
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Usually, after soaking, the beans are boiled for one or two hours; you can check readiness by gently pressing a bean with a fork—if it crushes easily, it's done. I add tomato sauce that already contains red chili pepper; if your sauce isn't spicy, add a bit of chili for flavor and aroma. The finished dish can now be served.

Step 2

Rinse the beans, cover with water, and let soak for 4 hours.

Step 3

When the beans have swollen and absorbed the water, transfer them to a pot, rinse again, cover with fresh water, and simmer over low heat until cooked—about an hour and a half.

Let's prepare a vegetable sauce for beans. Finely chop the onion and fry it in sunflower oil.

Next, add the tomato sauce, herbs, and salt and pepper to taste. My sauce is homemade and already seasoned.

Step 7

Cook the sauce for another 5-6 minutes, then remove from heat, add spinach and finely chopped garlic. Mix well, cover the sauce with a lid, and let it sit for a couple of minutes.

Place the cooked beans on a flat plate and top with the vegetable sauce.
